This is a follow up post to “What Is The Difference Between UberX And UberXL? ” In Part 1, I demonstrate how I was able to generate over $100 in the early hours on a Monday morning. In this episode I reveal what happened during the rest of the day.
It is truly possible to earn $200 or more per day doing rideshare. I did this test in my 2007 Chrysler Pacifica. Yes, I’m very picky about the trips I accept and you should be too. If there is a Boost, Quest or some other incentive, then I factor that into my daily strategy.
I may accept a trip without any Boost or Surge on it just to hit a Uber Quest bonus. If I’m really ready to come off the road and get my day over with, I’ll even accept an UberPOOL. Yes, I said it! I accept UberPOOL, but only when it fits in my overall strategy.
What it truly boils down to is finding out what works for you and figuring out how to duplicate your results. I have said many times over and over to look at rideshare as a business. If you treat it like a business it will pay you like a business.
So when we’re having the conversation about what is the difference between UberX and UberXL its really about your perception. Approach each platform with a outlook of providing the best service at the highest profit and the lowest cost.
