Uber Driving Tips - Money Mindset

Uber Driving Tips: Getting The Right Money Mindset Before You Start Your Car!

In this post, I want to give you some serious Uber driving tips and I think this can help a lot of people. We’re going to talk about mindset. I know a lot of people want to know the how-to about driving, but one of the things that people consistently fail to realize is your mindset and the way you’re thinking before you start driving is important.

I’m a real big person on personal development and I believe in the law of attraction. I want to share with you guys some things. First of all, I’m going to share with you some books and you’ll understand these Uber driving tips and how to apply them.

At the time of this post, we’re at the beginning of August and we’re in the middle of summer. Your driving strategy will change, but your mindset needs to be consistent. My next post is going to be about some summer driving strategies. Things have changed and I’ll tell you why in the next post. But in this post, I want you to make sure you’ve got a pen, paper, or some kind of way to jot some notes down because what I’m going to tell you is very important.

Now, I’m not going to brag, but I want to give you guys some insight. I am a top-rated driver on both the Uber and Lyft platforms. I’m over 8,200 rides on Uber as of a couple of days ago, and my rating is a 4.99. I’m Uber Pro Diamond at this point right now and that is because I practice certain things. I do things a certain way.

Tips for Uber Drivers to Make More Money

I’m giving you a list of books and Uber driving tips that are going to help you out because if you don’t get your mind right, you won’t get your money right. You’ve got to have a serious money mindset if you want to get your money right. There are things I’m still working on. I’m not perfect, but one thing I do understand is wherever the mind goes, the behind follows.

Write that down! Wherever the mind goes, the behind follows. If you find yourself in a situation that you don’t like, you need to check your thinking.

One of the first books I’m going to recommend you get that will help you with your consciousness is the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles. This is pure gold. If you’ve ever seen The Secret, this book is what The Secret was based on and this is a 100-year old book!

The techniques that he talks about in this books are priceless so definitely get that book.

See: “Preparing For Your First Trip”

Most of these books I’m going to recommend are on Audible so if you’re a driver, you can pop them in, in-between your rides. There’s no excuse for not getting the right information in your brain. Once again, the formula for getting this done is “Be-Do-Have”. Become a certain person, then do what the certain person does and you’ll have what the certain person has.

It’s as simple as that. Most of the time we’re focused on the doing. What are you doing to create this type of result? You have to have your being intact.

Uber Driver Secrets

The next book I’m going to recommend is Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eckr and what he talks about is the inner-game of wealth. I’ve seen a lot of comments in these videos where people say, “Well, I’m only making $600. I’m doing the same amount of rides, but I’m making $600 a week.”

I talked to this one guy a couple of weeks ago and he said, “I’m doing Postmates, I’m doing DoorDash, I’m doing Uber Eats, I’m doing Lyft, I’m driving Uber, I’m doing Amazon, I’m doing all of these things and I’m barely making $700 a week.”

The first thing I had to talk to him about was how he was thinking. He said, “Well I have audiobooks and I just never listened to them.” I’m like, “Dude, you’re missing out. That’s part of your issue. You have to get your mind right.”

The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind talks about your inner-game and the wealth files that you’re putting in your mind.

How are you thinking?

A lot of us don’t have the proper wealth files. This book helps you replace negative thinking with something positive to help you attract wealth to yourself. Thoughts are things and thoughts create real things. Everything you see is created from a thought first.

The next two books I’m going to recommend are both by Napoleon Hill. One is called “The Law of Success”. That’s a really good book. I’ve read most of the book and then I went and got it on audio so I could listen to it as I was driving. It’s heady, but if you put the things in play that Napoleon Hill talks about, you’ll have more success than you can realize.

The second book is called “Think and Grow Rich”. That’s a classic. Most successful people talk about “Think and Grow Rich”. You know why? Because he talks about the thought.

He didn’t say, “Run around and drive 50 million rides in your car and tear your car up and get rich.” He didn’t say, “Work 79 hours, work 80 hours in a warehouse and get rich.” He said, think and grow rich. It’s about your train of thought.

Uber Tricks for Drivers: The Right Money Mindset

The next two books are by Robert Kiyosaki. The first one is “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” and the subtitle is that is “What the Rich Teach Their Kids That the Poor and Middle Class Don’t!” It’s about thinking, once again. It’s about your being. How are you being? Be-Do-Have. If you get that formula together, you will be all right. People want to know what the difference is. The difference is in your mindset.

The next book by Robert Kiyosaki is “Rich Dad’s Cashflow Quadrant.” If you understand Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and if you understand the Cashflow Quadrant, then it will transform the way you look at Rideshare. You won’t be running around talking about how much money Uber’s taking from you.

Is the system fair? No, but stop focusing on that. What you focus on expands. What you’re thinking about grows so if you think about, “Well, I don’t have enough,” then guess what? You’re not going to have enough.

My mentor gave this to me and her mentor gave it to her: “The money that you want is in the pockets of other people and it’s your job to figure out how to get those people to happily and gladly give you the money that’s in their pockets.”

One of the ways is through this Uber app. Stop being so focused on, “Well, I’m not making any money.” If you’re still focused on, “I’m not making any money.” Then you’re not going to make any money. If you understand that money is in abundance and that it can come to you in unlimited ways, who can stop the money from coming to you? The only person that can stop the money coming to you is you. Take responsibility for that.

Please mark this on your list of Uber driving tips!

Don’t hang around with the people that are complaining about what Uber is doing or what Lyft is doing. If you don’t like what Uber is doing or what Lyft is doing, change it. Be on that team to change it. That’s great, but don’t just run around complaining.

How You Start Your Day Matters!

The last book I’m going to recommend is “The Miracle Morning” by Hal Elrod. This is a book about how you start your day off. Before I even start my car and before I even leave my house, I’m already thinking a certain way because I’ve done these certain rituals.

How are you approaching your day? Are you approaching your day expecting to win? Are you approaching your day with a certain mindset? Before you get in your car, what are you expecting from the day?

Are you expecting, “Ugh! I got to get out and drive again. Man, I ain’t making no money doing Uber. Ugh! This is just too much. I’m not making money doing Lyft. Ugh! I keep getting these little short rides. Ugh! I’m not making any money.”

Your Attitude Is Important

The more you focus on that, the more it grows. Wherever the mind goes to behind follows. I’m going to quote something to you guys and I hope you get this. It’s from a book called “Banned Money Secrets” by Richard Dotts. I’ve been following his stuff for a little bit and I’m going to share this with you.

He said, “One common thread I have observed for all of the hidden rich is their carefree and light attitude towards money. In other words, no matter how or where they make their money, they adopt an extremely easy and peaceful attitude towards money. This may be difficult for you to adopt at the beginning due to past mental conditioning, but it is a good place to strive towards.

“Once you can bring yourself to a place where you genuinely feel light and carefree about money, then the money will truly begin to flow to you. This is why many of the hidden rich are willing to work in their day jobs that pay comparatively modestly. They see their jobs, not as a means where their money comes from, but where their money comes through.

“This is more than just a play on words for the reflects profound differences and understanding. If you see money as coming from your job, then the job becomes indispensable to you and you must have it or do it even if you do not like it. If the money comes through your job for you, then it can come through many other channels as well as the same time, as well at the same time and whether you do this job or that job, it doesn’t matter. “

It doesn’t matter. It’s all in your perception about the money. Once again, I hope you guys got some value out of this post about Uber driving tips.
